Wielu uczących się języka angielskiego nie potrafi umiejscowić wyrażenia “there is” w języku. Słusznie - w polskim nie posiadamy odpowiednika tego wyrażenia. Jednak łatwo jest znaleźć miejsce, w którym ta fraza będzie używana. Zacznijmy od tego, że po angielsku każde zdanie zaczynamy konstruować od podmiotu, czyli osoby/rzeczy wykonującej czynność. “Mieszkam tu”, po angielsku będzie brzmiało “I live here”, chociaż “ja”= “I” wcale po polsku nie ma w zdaniu. [Poczytaj o tym więcej w “be” - formy twierdzące.]Jednak są zdania, w których mówimy “są”, “jest”, “nie ma” bez żadnego wyraźnego wykonawcy. Przykład?
